Heyo everybody!
Today we had pancakes for breakfast. Then we got to work. Half the squad made trenches to better protect the buildings from floods. It was very difficult. Meanwhile, the other half of the squad got to clean and mark the ramp for the new designs that we will be painting on tomorrow. LUCKYYYYY.

They’re walking on sunshine (and don’t it feel good!).
Unfortunately, due to rain that came in the late afternoon, the sketches of the design were washed away and the ramp was made dirty again. This tends to happen frequently here in Biolley. The rain was a cool relief though, because while we were working, our lovely nemesis, heat, decided to pound 5.21 billion degrees on us. IT WAS SO HOT! ??

Giving Biolley an irrigation system to rival Amsterdam’s.
For lunch we had chicken, rice, and vegetables. Instead of working in the afternoon we had the opportunity to start on our individual projects. Many people took advantage of this. Julia and Dyan did almost their whole project, which was to paint signs for local trails and farms, in one day! They (we) painted approximately 91 signs!

Kenna provides comedic relief while Julia and Dylan work on their independent project.
Elizabeth taught English to Victoria and Alejandro, two children from town. Ally and Mila interviewed people for their project, “Humanos de Biolley.” A few others also started their projects while some of the group relaxed and went to town. Finally, people washed up before heading to dinner. For dinner we ate spicy spaghetti?, great garlic bread, and tasty tea. It was very yummy. After dinner we played cards and enjoyed watching Alia and Cierra learn dance moves? from Youtube. Exhausted from a hard day of work, everyone headed to bed early.
Buenas noches,
Sgt. Awesome♉ (Dylan) & Jules♐ (Julia)
